- Beyond my coaching responsibilities, I also led wherever I saw a gap. Mostly raising issues, delivering feedback, catching things that get dropped and inspiring others to be their best through engaging conversations.
- In 2018, I was part of the small team that launched Makers Apprenticeship (a level 4 Software Engineer qualification):
July 2017 - November 2017 CTO at SheCanCode Ltd. (London, UK)
- As the acting CTO and first tech employee, I helped shape what the product would be, set up the technical roadmap for several projects and managed interns and an outsourced team of developers, as well as a million of small things that just need to be done in such a small company.
- Set up services using Docker, researched technologies like tensorflow and chatbots, created a few React + Graphcool prototypes (like this one)
- Product owner for a remote Ruby-on-Rails team using Jira for tickets and user stories.

July 2013 - May 2016 Software Engineer at Meta (then Facebook) (London, UK)
- Full stack web development, mostly using Hack (php) and React, as well as python and HQL
- Part of the data infrastructure team:
  - Writing pipelines to import and format places/events/media data into the graph.
  - Working on a tool to rate the quality of the data, to make sure the graph holds no duplicate, has good accuracy and coverage.
  - As part of the tool, I personally developed several rating interfaces and worked directly with the raters to add many UX features.
- Conducted over a hundred interviews, both coding and behavioural.
- Co-started an initiative to give a regular talk over VC to prepare candidates for the interview process. I conducted over a dozen such sessions, which garnered very positive feedback from candidates.
- Mentored new hires during bootcamp (6 weeks onboarding period).
- Gave talks in front of university students (Oxford, Imperial, INSA) and spoke at panels about being a software engineer at Facebook, and being a woman software engineer.
October 2012 - June 2013 Front-End Developer at Masabi Ltd (London, UK)
- Front-end development of the MBTA mTicket application, a ticketing app for Boston area commuter rail.
- Work on UI responsiveness, Javascript optimizations, applying advanced CSS3 techniques.
- Single Page Application Framework, jQuery, LESS.
- UI prototyping, Automated testing using QUnit.
April 2011 - August 2012 Software Engineer at Atos Worldline (Lyon, France)
- Back-end and front-end development for IVR services, using mostly Java and XML.
- Extensive use of the unix command line and script writing to push and manage production services.
- Regular phone contact with clients, project planning and management.
- One such project was to migrate a hundred call centers to a new version of the IVR, with minimal service disruption.
November 2010 - March 2011 Software Quality Intern at Orange Business Services (Lyon, France)
- Redaction of a quality assurance plan and configuration management plan as part of a bid on a multi million public project.
March 2010 - July 2010 Web Developer at Connaxis (Buenos Aires, Argentina)
- Development of various websites, including the corporate connaxis.com website.
- First professional contact with HTML and CSS, PHP and MySQL.
- Pixel perfect sites from Photoshop designs, use of jQuery and CakePHP.

Personal Projects & Undertakings

2022 Created a simple online Memory game to keep my coding skill sharp over the summer.
2018 - 2021 Yearly participation to Advent of Code programming challenge.
2016 As I left Facebook and contemplated a career change, I took a mostly solo trip around the world. The goal was to meet people and see how others were living their lives and choosing their paths. I had the chance to travel to Canada, the USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Israel and Turkey.
2013 Created musicpuzzle, a small web game that received Deezer's prize during a Facebook hosted hackathon.
2013 Created smoothScroll, a small smooth scrolling javascript library which has been downloaded more than 2 million times on npm.
2013 Co-created SkipTheRope, a webapp that made first place at Facebook Women in Computing hackathon.
2012 - 2013 Regular contributor for Mozilla
- Invited to MozCamp Europe 2012 and speaker at FOSDEM 2013 about online privacy.
- Filing bugs and proposing patches.
- Localizing various resources in French.
2011 - 2012Local coordinator of a political youth group campaigning around social and environmental issues and taking part in the local Green Party life.
2009 Weekly math tutoring to a secondary school student who went from being dismissed by his teacher as needing special education to getting passing grades and participating confidently in class.
2007 - 2009Editor of a students' newspaper which placed 2nd (2008), and then 1st (2009) Best French University Newspaper.
- Writing and editing articles.
- Extensive use of Adobe InDesign for print layout.
- Coordination of print and search for advertisers.

- Worked with a caterer to organize food for 800 people on graduation night
